Any chance that SC is trying to convince Ivar to reconsider? His options at Wolves would appear to be even more restricted now.

2nd team at Molineaux or 2nd Div for Brighton which would you choose, especially with SC as manager? Shop window for Ivar too.

Todays news:

Wolves boss Dave Jones intends to signal the extent of his Premiership ambitions by wrapping up five new signings before the end of the week.

Jones' transfer market frustrations appear to be over after a productive few days which have brought Henri Camara, Jody Craddock, Steffen Iversen and Carlos Kameni to Molineux for medicals.

And Italian World Cup star Dino Baggio is mulling over a move to the Premiership with his agent confirming Wolves are the only club chasing his loan services from Lazio.

Senegal World Cup ace Camara could sign tomorrow after Wolves agreed a £1.5million fee with his French club Sedan.

The 26-year-old, who will be offered a four-year deal, scored 14 goals for Sedan last season and also hit his country's famous World Cup golden goal against Sweden.

Wolves boss Dave Jones told the club's official website: ``Signing Henri is still subject to him passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.

``But if everything goes to plan then he will be a fantastic addition to the squad.

``We are signing him as a striker but he can play in any forward position. He has lightning pace and that's going to be a massive asset for us in the Premiership.''

Any money that anyone was thinking of paying Rougier should be thrown at Ivar IMHO. Cullip, Blackwell and Ivar contesting the centre back spots would be superb, because I can't bear the thought of Butters getting a run out.

Wise words Lush. Rougier is crap and Butters is still too fat. Get Ivar in because he's top class and could probably actually do a job in the Premiership.

I personally don't reckon Ivar will play down at Div 2 level now. Be nic eif he did though

He hasn't been snapped up (suprisingly) by anyone else and he couldn't make Wolves 1st team last year. SC rates him, we need another central defender/come midfielder and the season is about to start. Whatever he has said about not wanting to drop to the 2nd again it has to be better for him than rotting in the stiffs.
