BBC Sport - Clubs like Brighton Millwall take steps to halt declining attendances
Good read and interesting
Good read and interesting
"On a cold and wet Saturday afternoon at Brighton & Hove Albion, 27,000 dedicated fans turn up to pack out the Amex Stadium."
"Where were you when we were shit?"
I don't think that article actually mentioned the real reason (in my opinion) for the high attendances we have - being able to pay Season Tickets by interest-free direct debit.
which game was this? 27,000 packing out the amex
It's a bit rich for club executives to be taking all the credit for the explosion in our attendances.
"It's fair to say Brighton's Amex Stadium is different from their former home, the Withdean Stadium, and there can be little doubt they have benefited from having new airy concourses and excellent transport links."
Excellent transport links.
To be fair there isn't really any other stadium with such an extensive P&R system, public buses and public trains ( with a station right at the station ) and that gets such a large number of supporters using these systems.

And with the Albion posting up an operating loss of 8 million i'm sure not many will follow our transport model
