Club shop appreciation thread

I, and i'm sure many contributors on here would like to extend my thanks to the hard working club shop staff who im sure take much abuse from upset supporters throughout the year which in 99.9% of cases is totally unjustified.

So thanks.

Working in a shop myself, I know how difficult it can be to deal with annoying, arsey customers who, often as not, you'd love to give a bloody good slap to, so well done to them.

Club shop staff do seem to have got their act together this year. No more skulking at the far end of the shop by the curtain, blatantly blanking the punters. Reckon that short sharp shock of making them man a stall in Churchill Square last Xmas did the trick.

True heroes are the ticket office staff tho. Even this morning they were being harangued on the phone by muppets about poxy West Ham tickets. They must secretely hanker after the days when the club got knocked out of the cup by Kingstonians earlydoors

they do seem to have improved
