I guess the next move is mobile ticketing , barcode sent to your smartphone or other mobile device which you wave at the turnstile scanner.

So if you have a cup tie added to your smart card, you still pay? I'll buy the seat next to mine instead, and print the paper ticket for free, then.

Excellent observation.

I'd imagine the reason it's scrapped on print at home is to incentivise people not to have a physical ticket posted, thus saving money on admin, printing etc. The cost to the club will still be there due to the ticketing software license, but this is the club looking at the bigger picture with regards efficiency and cost saving.

I'm fairly sure I paid a booking fee for the Newport game. Then again, I've slept since then.

Anyone been able to "Print at Home" I tried for a spare for Watford with an U10.(a half term gift for my Grandson and his mum)No print at home option and the advertised £5 U10 ticket came up as £8.
They can't get the price right let alone Print at home.

How do these print at home jobbies work? Just bought some tickets for the Blackburn game and not had the usual email conformation. Is a PDF attached to said email? Are they sent out at point of sale or nearer the time?

I just ordered tickets for Barnsley and Leicester. I got the confirmation e mail with PDF ticket attachment about an hour later.

Jody from customer services was also very helpful as I had to revive and update an old account with my USA details.

Booking fees in the news: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...ce-campaigners-over-booking-fees-8869942.html

I'm not sure if it got mentioned on here but this is a follow-on from the "Twenty's Plenty" campaign (no, nothing to do with speed limits) where fans are trying to get clubs to cap away tickets at £20. Apparently there's going to reciprocal arrangements where, say , if Man U only charge Newcastle fans £20 then Newcastle will do the same for Man U.

Great news - although odd PB said it was never going to happen in the email he sent to week little over a week ago!

At the time of his reply what he said was accurate , it was never going to happen until the club was ready to announce the change
