Dempsey signs for Seattle Sounders on 4 year contract at $5M a year, making him the highest paid player in MLS. Sounders also paid a $9M transfer fee – hope it works out.

An interesting move for both player and club.
Our chums on Fox Soccer were going on about at the weekend. More importantly what's going to happen to Warren? Presumably no space on the panel on the revamped Fox Sports 1 or what ever they are calling it. I think they still have the rights to the FA Cup which is worrying. NBC put quite a nice Premier League preview show together, although jury obviously still out on the main event. Can only do better than Fox one would think, and their expert in the 'Winnipeg' studio. LOL.
