Classy defenders.

Back in the day we had some defenders who the press always dubbed as classy. Of course there was Lawro, but before him, anyone remember watching Dennis Burnett or Graham Cross? They were class. Ken Tiler was one of my fave's, quality.

Tank is obviously class in our eyes; but never seen a report along the lines of, "The ball was carried out of defence by the classy Butters".

Who was the sweeper we had on loan from Norwich? He was pretty classy, even if his best days were behind him. I liked watching Ingimarsson too. Going much further back, Gary Stevens was always immaculate.
