No he's got his eye on Warnock, a manager who supported him and helped his career...

True, but I took that to mean because he wanted Warnock to do well, not cos he's a palace supporter. In the same way people on here want Mickey Adams to be successful at clubs he manages.

Funny how it's now come to light that CKR was out of the team because of his personality rather than his abilty. Will that change anybody's opinion about McGhee one iota ? It's not as though McGhee is struggling at Motherwell after all.

Yeah, he did seem to be a bit of an arrogant twat, but sadly that's how a lot of footballers seem to think they should behave these days.

Just chuckling at Charlton
He obviously has ability otherwise he wouldn't be playing for a club like Fenerbahce. He obviously didn't enjoy his time at Brighton, but these things happen, he has moved on and done very well for himself.

Bath, Somerset.
He still came across as an arrogant twat. Too much 'attitood' and bling.

Indeed, 'arrogant' was exactly the word that Neil Warnock used to describe him, along with 'he was a bit strange'.

CKR said he thought that Warnock's description was 'a bit harsh', but then he would, wouldn't he.

It is indeed.
Was that before or after he said he was going to Sheffield United? :glare:

If anything he enjoyed his time in Brighton too much...

He has got ability, but he has the mentality of the worst side of the Premiership, billy big bollocks thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread and doesn't need to try. The report was one sided bollocks as well, they said he wanted more game time than he got at Brighton, he was a virtual ever present the season we went down. Then he moaned about being subbed off at Rotherham, for one thing he was on for longer than he claims, and for another he neglects to mention how he sloped around the pitch, his body language and effort levels were probably the worst I've ever seen (including from Leon Knight), and then he did a Chimbonda handing in a written transfer request straight after the game which can only have been prepared beforehand.

:D Yes he looks the sort who would have 'enjoyed' the nightlife!

If a player is unhappy and causing unrest its best he goes for all concerned

I would be very surprised if he didn't know exactly what he was saying with the Palace comment.

I'm still 100% convinced he is a twat.

To be fair i don't think he has the intelligence to know what he was saying there. I just think it is because Warnock is our manager and as he said he owes him a lot because he took a chance on him.
