This is of course fair enough. But I have no idea what the posts were, and I have no idea what sort of legal issues you are talking about and so have no idea how to avoid them. If that makes sense...
Can you give us a clue so that we know what we are not allowed to do?

Writing things, simply, such as:

Darren McKay hates black people

might be written in jest or the writer may simply be intending to be ironic about another poster's views.

But if Darren McKay gets to hear about it, and speaks to a solicitor, people may start getting into trouble.

I really don't think there is a need to spell out an exhaustive list of what is and what is not permissible, common sense alone should dictate what people post.

Fair enough, I thought you were talking about Les' original post about McGhee, which was clearly meant in jest.
