I think they need the estate agent back to reevaluate. Think they missed the decaying falling down stands and have overpriced the championship players

General inflation was barely anything until a couple of years ago. More specifically it highlights how much of a rip off any building project has become. Or it may highlight how attractive the PL is to anybody needing money laundering.

Any yet companies that build the stands make tiny margins, especially on unique projects and go bust (Buckingham Group). There’s no rip off, materials (global markets), professionals and specialist trades are all expensive in a very expensive part of the world.

Must be all that shrewd investment on and off the pitch that is driving that huge valuation.

If someone buys that shambles for anywhere near that can we get their number as I have a load of magic beans to offload.

It certainly highlights how high inflation has risen

I believe the cost of construction has gone up a huge amount over the last few years.

Our near neighbour got planning permission for a two story side extention and small single story rear extension before covid, it was due to cost somewhere in the region of 90k its now almost complete and is costing almost 170k and they have made changes to spec to bring the cost down. They were going to shelve their plans but house prices have gone up 20% in two years in our area so moving wasn't an option to upsize.

I’d love too see Parish on Dragons Den.

“I want £170m for 24% of my loss making business idea. And yes, we’ve worldwide trademarks on CPFC”.
“The key thing for a trademark Steve, is that you have to successfully defend it - have you done so?”

“Thats the best bit Peter! We’ve never had to as nobody has ever tried to infringe!”
