One’s mind truly boggles at the possible capers therein.........Santa themed burkas on Christmas Eve, too much sherry in the trifle on Christmas Day, mistletoe related mayhem down the local school nativity play, blowing the house keeping on the favourite in the King George, burning the Boxing Day gammon, bawdy gender related banter with a pantomime dame.......who knows what mishaps will befall the nation’s favourite Muslim family at Christmas time?

How has My Family limped on for 20 years? A uniquely AWFUL programme, I have always been genuinely staggered by its popularity.

I also am appalled by the show which the rest of the Potting family seem to find hilarious and are forever watching it on Netflix - the whole cast irritate me. Minor revenge when I did make Youngest Potting watch "The Builders" episode of Fawlty Towers which she did not quite know what to make of! Biding my time and will introduce her to "Father Ted".
