Christmas 2006 ... a summary

Well, for a start, too bloody warm!!!

I wanted SNOW, deep and crisp and even; I wanted to see small children tugging sledges up the road, swaddled in scarves and mufflers; I wanted streams of steaming breath and a nip in the air that makes me gasp whenever I opened the back door. But no, not this year; I even saw a fella pruning bushes in his garden today wearing a T-SHIRT, for Goodness sake! .... that's not right for Boxing Day

Was working all Christmas and compared to previous years its been fairly quiet. Just a couple of accidents on the motorway on Christmas day, and a house fire this afternoon. Normally, its non-stop.

Present count equals zero, although I was given a beautiful miniture christmas tree a few weeks before christmas by an equally beautiful woman, so for that I count myself very lucky!

Normally I'd say you should come over here if you want a white Christmas, but I too have been wearing short sleeves lately. It's just not right. We had some snow flakes falling this morning but nothing on the ground except nice lush green grass.

The weather is weird, I was outside Next at 4am this morning and no need for a coat then whatsoever.
