His attributes radar is identical to Welbeck' s and yes his goal per minutes is less, but his total goal and assists numbers combined do match up.

Ok some players haven’t worked out (we know who they are) and we haven’t uncovered the next Kane or Vardy (yet) and but Hemed, Maupay , Baldock, Welbeck and Murray are some of the best signings the club has ever made. In its history . Given the goals they’ve scored, their contributions to promotion and our success as a PL club. And further back Ulloa and Barnes and Murray v 1 weren’t too bad either.

Didn't Fiorentina just go through to the next round in Europe and that was going to be the go/no go for this deal?
Only Muzza and Maupay in the prem era are good enough IMHO

Of those you quote, only Murray was what you could call prolific. The others are great players (I’m a particular fanboy for Baldock whose role in our promotion season is underrated), but none are prolific. We’ve had a few that got away (Nunez, Toney) so I think even the club team would say they’d like to find the ‘special’ one.

Agreed it’s far more nuanced (with even some successes ) than Albion “are close to unparalleled in having strikers who don’t score”.
And yes it depends on the benchmark (“prolific” ? “great players” ? "kept us up", "XG") etc
All our strikers have scored ! Just not as much as we would have liked. (like most other clubs and their strikers)
