So the Big B signs for ANOTHER lucrative £120k a week deal.

This just has to be the most perplexing deal in History. He’s scored (I think) 4 goals in 50 odd appearances which makes his run rate £2 .4 million per goal...I reckon either him or his agent have some “interesting” Polaroid’s of Parish.

Meanwhile we have Roy defending this money bonfire at Selhurst against...well...every pundit, pro, and Palace fan in the world.

Just madness. Keep it up.

OK, I can be convinced that Trump isn't racist, I can even be convinced (at a push) that Johnson will get us out of the EU

But there is now way I'm going to believe THAT

Perhaps he had a clause in this contract whereby if he scores more than 3 goals over 3 years they have to offer him an extension.

“At the prospect of....” (signing another)

So nope, he’s not been given another contract or signed. At least not yet.

Actually it’s just been reported on Talksport as a done deal although that article falls just short of stating it as such.

John Solako just been discussing it as fact to hoots of merriment.

But Christian is eyeing a move back to the “Heavy Metal Football” of LFC.

Is think it more likely he’ll stay at CPFC where the tempo is more Father Abraham and the Smurfs.

The only reason you could suppose that Palace would want to extend Benteke's contract is so that Palace are able to punt him on to China (or similar) instead of him walking away for nothing.

What is inexplicable, is that he's just been called up to the Belgium squad again.

Barndoor Benteke.

What an utter waste of money.

No chance of scoring more than two or three per season.

He is not even allowed to take penalties.

Perfect for Palace.

Brilliant work by the agent, they must both be laughing their nuts off.
He has picked up as many speeding tickets in the last year as what he has scored goals in 50 matches.

Palarse, the club that keeps on giving.

It's not surprising Barndoor Benteke is nowhere near penalties. As much as it pains me to say it, in Milowhatisface, Palace have one of the best penalty takers in the Premier League. He does get plenty of practice from SEGW and his diving mind.

Back on topic, a new contract is laughable, he's done nothing since his first season. Even Palace fans must be embarrassed by it.

On Talk Sport hey ? Must be true.
The only way he will get a new deal, is to stop him leaving for nothing at the end of this season.
IF he does get another contract, it won’t be on the same terms.
My hope is we get what we can in January, even just to get him off the wage bill.

A good honest & intelligent opinion.[emoji106]

Wish all Palace fans on here would be the same!

Funnily enough my hope is the exact opposite! New five year deal on improved terms to ward off any interest.
