In a pile of football shirts
OK, so he's ditched us and maybe he wasn't right for us in the Championship, but he did a job for us, he got us the penalty that got us promoted, he scored a fantastic goal on his debut, a good one on his home debut.

Thanks Chris, all the best.

I loved that goal at Cheaterfield.

Anybody could have been brought down in the area at Cardiff like Jones nearly was.

No, it has to be the looks on the Cheaterfield fans faces that I enjoyed.

Up until the play offs I thought he was execellent. In the two Swindon games and the Bristol game I thought he was poor. Still convinced he could do a good job for us this season if he wants to stay.

Slightly above average player in the division we were in last season. Would have been found out this season. Obviously not committed to us so

Where's the 'Thanks for mucking us around all summer and then not having the decency to tell us you weren't going to sign' option?

Good riddance to him. He was barely adequate in our old division and wouldn't have been anywhere near good enough in <insert current name here>. He joins Rougier in the 'lumbering donkeys we're well rid off' category. Like Rougier he had his moments, but also like Rougier they couldn't disguise the fact he was PANTS!

Yes, yes I know it leaves us a bit light and I would rather have had him than nobody - but I don't like the way he treated us.

It's interesting to note, that out of 31 votes, only 1 has voted for 'strength in the air'

Considering that was the reason that he was brought in to the squad, it shows that he was fairly ineffective.

The bonus for us is it has freed up some more dosh for wages for new players, and we don't have to pay Stoke the transfer fee that was due to them this season- a few more £££'s in the kitty for Mcghee.

I wouldn't say that, i think he was pretty effective in the air but his run into the penalty area won us promotion and therefore will always be remembered. Likewise his goal against the Cheats.

Yes, good old Chris, he fell over in the penalty area at Cardiff, that at least was something he did right.. Good job he's not rememberfed for that appalling miss when he had loads of time but just snatched at his shot, or the fact that he had all the close control of a brick wall.

(I'm just getting it all out of my system, I'm not usually this vindictive)
