Potentially the best manager we have ever had needs his own chant instead of the straight-out-of-the-packet "Chris Hughton's blue and white army...."

I quite like "HUGH.......TON" like Liverpool used to chant Dalglish.

It's about time we made this man an icon. He's a leader in every way.

I think he already is the best manager we've ever had.

Given the VAST disparity this division now has in terms of finances with parachute payments, to have turned us round from the dogs dinner of a shambles we were 2 years ago to the well oiled winning machine we have become, and without (in relative terms) breaking the bank, is nothing short of miraculous.

Isn't that straight out of another packet, though?

If we think only an original will do, might I suggest adapting into 'Chris, Hughton, Chris' the refrain from Edgar Broughton's 'Out, Demons Out'?

It's less out of the box!

Like the song. Not sure how you fit Chris Hughton into it though.

Out, Demons Out!

Chris, Hughton, Chris.

A perfect match!

We should remember this thread when it gets tough next season.
Wonder how many fans will give him the akpom treatment when we lose a few

This. I was recalling yesterday evening sitting in the stand with my brother the conversation we had two seasons ago towards the end of the season which was "Would you still renew if we were relegated!"

The answer was, of course, yes.

After everything that he has done for us, I don't think that I could ever be upset at Mr Hughton.

Best manager ever. If he pulls this off in a few weeks he'll rightly be immortalized amongst the Brighton faithful

Any more antics from him and I say get rid. He even raised an eyebrow last night, allegedly.

I like it.

If God had a name what would it be? - Chris
And would you call it to his face?
If you were faced with Him in all His glory
What would you ask if you had just one question?
And yeah, yeah, Chris is great
Yeah, yeah, Chris is good
And yeah, yeah, yeah-yeah-yeah
