Luke Wright has just tied him in knots though, 2 singles and 2 dot balls! Some effort that. When he got to 100 he had only scored something like two or three singles, all the rest in boundaries. That is the way to play cricket!!

I don't follow cricket but my housemate watches a lot of the IPL and watching Chris Gayle is exciting. The man's an absolute monster.

Averages less than 40. On his day he's phenomenal but i'm not sure he's "a great"

He sets the tone. Takes the shine off the new ball. Makes the most of the 1st powerplay

The man is a beast. Nearly at McCullum's record now.

...and now gone past that record.

AB De Villiers also at the crease, both are explosive batsmen.

Patcham.
Its such a shame that he doesnt show the same passion when playing Test games. Top player.

175* at a strike rate of 265. Wow.

The worst thing? He makes it look so easy. I'm awful at batting (more of a bowler) and to see him tear a team apart is frightening.
