CC sacked by Coventry.
A good bet to be the next manager of our friends from the council estates of South London?

I quite like Coleman, would be a shame if he returned to CPFC imho.

Fancy losing 0-4 at home to Watford. And did you see where that left Cov in the table?

Shocking!

Ideal man for Croydon Palace

I've always liked Cookie too, for some reason. Wouldn't really care if he went to Palace - everybody else has !

His managerial track record isn't fantastic so he'd be ideal for Palace. Isn't it great having a decent manager and watching other clubs scrabbling around amongst all the dodgy candidates out there? Christ there was even a mention of Dowie going back there yesterday.

Poor old Chris. His sacking has been on the cards for a while. Then he got lucky taking them to the edge of the play offs. Then it was all downhill. I wonder who the City have lined up?

Do what Palace normally do. Sign them up then don't bother paying. Simples.

He'd be a terrible appointment. If they are going to go for one of their old boys surely Gareth Southgate would be a better option. I still think Hart is the most likely choice.

I like Hart as their manager, principally because he is uncharismatic and tactically clueless.

He took a lower mid-table team and turned them into relegation candidates through his ineptitude and lack of motivational abilities, and yet somehow has managed to emerge as something of a hero for "saving" them from the drop :lolol:

Let us not forget that, despite the apparent financial crisis, the only player sold was Moses, and Fonte earlier in the season. Hardly a fire sale (much like Pompey: they moan about their plight but don't really sell anyone to solve the problem). Therefore the fact that they lost a significant number of games in the second half of the season is actually nothing to do with the finances, or the points deduction, but due to the inherent crap-ness of either the manager or the players.

Good job, Hart, good job :lolol:

He used to live near Godstone which is pretty much one road away from the cronx.

He'll have to look out when driving down the A25 though!

I know mate.We are a division higher and still won more points than them .And we are shit? What does that make them?
I would be so happy if a bigger club such as Swindon or Brentford came and took Poyet off them:thumbsup:

I think some of those Cov players were already mentally on the plane and mailed in that performance vs Watford.

Coleman's a decent manager and I expect he'd keep them in the Championship at the very least. I'd imagine Coleman might sit tight to see if the Cardiff job becomes available - Dave Jones stock is pretty high.

Completely untrue. Before Warnock left, we were a sinking ship. I'm not saying Hart did a great job, but his sole objective was to stay up and we did that. Nobody has called him a hero either, we're just grateful he finally got the job done.

Fonte left in January as well as Moses, if anything we lost our best defender 4 games before Moses inevitably left. We also had to let Sears and Smith go. After that we were left with a squad of about 18 players, regularly couldn't fill our bench and then lost our manager which upset a lot of players.

We're the first team to get a points deduction mid season and survive apparently. It's not merely a 10 point deduction, going from challenging for the playoffs to fighting relegation is a massive psychological challenge and the players came through.
