I went to a really good restaurant last night, it was a mixture of South Indian and Nepalese food, a bit of an odd choice when you think about it as they are so far apart and I can't honestly say that anyone working there looked anything like a Nepali. However, the food was superb and easily the best Indian I have been to since moving to Gloucester, it is called the Hilltop just in case any of you are in this part of the world and want some decent nosh.

Chinese by a mile. More variety. Mixed starters, duck with pancakes, and a variety of mains. Not the same as Indian where everyone always seems to have 1 starter and 1 main with side dish, rather than share a variety of dishes. I could eat chinese every day and not get bored.

Are you having a laugh?? I've been going to Happy Inn since they opened and have found them to have some of the best sauces I've ever found in a Chinese take-away. You must try the Char Siu Roast Pork in Satay Sauce. For once it's a satay sauce that doesn't just taste like spicy peanut butter - and that's rare.

Bengal Cuisine on the other hand is shit. Not enough meat and they take an age to deliver. Get down the Shahi on Beaconsfield Road - much better.

Too tricky to choose. I love Chinese and could live on crispy shredded chili beef, but cuzza is great as well. The lamb bhuna I had lastnight was superb.
