Yes, always, have done a few crazy things to try and raise funds for it, including standing on a road leading to a railway crossing with a bucket (dressed as a clown), catching people as they were stuck at the gates...have to say the majority were very generous.

I have heard/experienced lots of negative things about Children in Need and so we donate direct instead to various charities that are near and dear to our hearts.

Out of £33m they spent just £635k on 'admin' coats of fundraising and publicity.

Seems a pretty healthy percentage that goes directly to the people who need it!

I always did at School and at College, I remember doing fancy dress for Children In Need at College. We had to go round every single class in the tower block to get money, I was absolutely knackered by the end of it.

Don't ask what I dressed up as, you wouldn't like to know.
