Back to winning ways and more........

Harding and Virgo both outstanding full backs today, and chances taken with aplomb up front!

Three valuable points in the bag.

Oh..............and not forgetting special thanks to our 'twelfth man' today, Mr Buxton!

here is my match report

Great effort, as always Simon, I wonder how much coverage of that there's going to be on soccer sunday tomorrow. Meridian must be spitting blood that we turned B'Muff over. Wouldn't mind seeing the OGH goal again.

Terrific report Simon. Spot on as usual. I, too, thought Harding had an outstanding game.

Quote - 'Nathan Jones, having a much better game today than he has in a long time'.

Shit! I know I haven't made many games recently, but has he really been that bad? Nathan 'Oops I did it again' Jones. Were we at the same game today?

Ben Elton's Brother seems a bit doubtful about our play-off prospects.

But look at the fixtures. We've got seven more home games. None of them is against a team higher than tenth. The Albion have only lost two home games this season. A team with that home record should expect to win all of the remaining home games.

That's 21 more points coming our way.

Even assuming we lose the four away games that we've got to play against top half opponents, that still leaves away games against Blackpool (15th), Chesterfield (19th) and Stockport County (22nd). We can surely win one of those and draw the other two.

That's 5 more points.

Add the 49 points we've already got - and we finish the season with 75 points. Easily enough to get us to the playoffs.

Improve our away form and we can even afford to drop a few points at home.

Simon is right - PLAY-OFFS? YES

why shouldnt we get to playoffs? at this stage of the season we are sitting in the right position to make the playoffs. i think the negitivity must come from our lack of auto promotion chances, after such a good start to the season. keep heads up and look foward to a trip to cardiff.
