Week off work. Tickets booked. B&B sorted. Wallet full of cash. Can't wait. So anyone with any good ante post bets on?

The Good

A sizeable bet on Punjabi at around 7/2 to get placed in the Champion Hurdle. Won one and placed once in the Champion Hurdle, surely even now at 2's to place it is a good bet especially as it improves in the spring
Go Native to win the Champion Hurdle
Garde Champetre to win the Cross country is surely bet of the week at 9/4. Only lost once around Cheltenham and that was because the winner missed half the course. I'm on at around 3's
Somersby to win the Arkle
Weapons Amnesty to win the RSA chase.

The bad

El Dancer to win the Arkle (non runner - not sure what was going through my mind when I parted my hard earned on that). Plenty more of them as well.
Bottling out of backing Master minded at 5/2. That looks massive now.
Backing Dunquib in the supreme novices at odds on wasn't such a smart move. Now Evens and I have a feeling it will get beat.
Backing Binocular straight after it lost last year at 5's. Whoops.

This is probably the right moment to jog memories about this one:

Long-range Cheltenham Festival tip - North Stand Chat

ie. before it gets stuffed out of sight on Thursday.

Sadly, didn't take my own advice (or rather, did, but in a double that's already gone down).

Have backed Gwanako at 25-1 in the Festival Plate, though. Also Lake Legend at 14-1 in the Coral Cup.

Be nice to your bookie.

It's going to be superb entertainment, and that's just the chaps in the shop cheering on their horses! But it's also a lot of hard work for those of us behind the counter, putting all the bets in the system and whatnot... don't all start rushing up the moment the race is over!

I'll be preparing my own personal GOLIATH on monday. :lolol:

 how much did you end up down last year? Wern't you laying out £20 or £40 a race and you didnt win til day 4?

I am skint so will cancel the festival for the 1st time in over 20 years.

Joanna Morgan is sending one over which I'm told has an eachway chance at a biggish price.

Raise Your Heart 2-05 on Friday the 19th, Vincent O'Brien County Handicap Hurdle.

Should be 25/1 ish.

The tip came from the husband of her niece.
