Chelsea probably lucky the semis are at Wembley nowadays. In a month’s time a trek up to Villa Park, Hillsborough or Old Trafford might be financially beyond them!

Shamefully I must admit that I placed a small bet on Palace to win the whole thing before the Hartlepool fixture. At the time we seemed destined to finish above them in the league and as such I could see them lifting the cup just to defy our achievement (?!).

Chelsea... man I've only been here for a few years but the thought of hearing Palace fans talk about their FA cup win for the next 50 years... slightly unbearable. Though I suppose a painful heartbreaking loss in the final would be ok.
