Yeh maybe. Could go either way really but does feel a bit wrong they’ve not opened exchange with many of the remaining tickets being expensive corporate. It doesn’t upset me - just looks shit and shows a number of fair-weathered fans about unfortunately.

Hopefully Monday when the ticket office opens

It’s as if 1901 is a corporate scheme with different benefits than STs

Because the club is giving the 1901 member permission to transfer the ticket in that way. The same way the club is giving permission for a season ticket holder to transfer their ticket via the sharing scheme.

Under the act it is an offence to share or sell a ticket without the authorisation of the club that issued it. The ability to share the ticket via the official club methods is them giving their permission for this to happen. So totally within the terms of the Act.

The exchange is slightly different, but still within the law, as the club are reselling the ticket themselves so take all responsibility for the transaction.

It's legal to transfer football tickets with the issuing club's permission. Hence why there's an official ticket share system.

There are, admitedly, some anomalies in Brighton's system - eg the ability for STHers to buy additional tickets for randoms for some matches, or to upgrade ticket category six times a season (but, in those cases, the STH is still responsible for the tickets).

But what exactly stops the club from moving the away fans to the South East corner?
Those are always the last ones to be sold, and letting them have the south stand is a distinct advantage, we don't need to be giving up.

Would it be impossible to separate the concourses?

Can’t be impossible as already gets done for FA Cup games doesn’t it ?

There's about 20 standard seats left and a few in the lounges.
So i'd say pretty likely it goes to the exchange in next few hours.

Thought it was something to do with segregation and the way the concourses and entry/exits are designed, but yes it was done for FA Cup (and lower away attendance) matches

PS: If people don't want to share tickets with friends etc - because out of principle they don't think their friends should have to be members or pay any ££ to do it or think there should be any rules around it - and just think that you should be able to share your ticket for free with anyone. Or argue that its a faff and it could be simpler to do. Then fine. Why not say so ?
But why argue that you "can't do it" . Hundreds, possibly thousands do so every match. There are 30K+ Albion + members now i think.

I'm down in London for work until 6pm then going to rush down for the match and bound to be late....I'll be turning up in my posh suit and getting to a mid-row seat so I'm pretty sure I'll be assumed as Chelsea......even wearing my scarf wouldn't help......no time to jump off at the Prem Inn Gatwick where I'm staying on the way....and the bag rules mean not much of a change possibility.....so perhaps I'll just start fiddling with the app....other suggestions welcome, facetious or otherwise......

I can confirm there is a bag drop in front of the South. Long queues after the game.

It hasn’t yet. There are still tickets about 140 tickets available at the moment. Would be a lot more if the exchange was open.

You can also purchase a concession ticket at the moment as I’ve just grabbed a friends kid one for the game.

Scattered single seats they have not opened yet I think, as mine are not showing.

Must be plenty of people wanting to buy 2/3 seats together…
