I'm including Mike Penders who is yet to sign officially, but is also expected to go back to Genk on loan for the season.Apparently officially 58.
It will be 59 when they also bring in Samu Omorodion from Atleti for £34m soon.

I'd sort of understand it if they were able to sell players in a similarly flippant way. Take Datro Fofana (signed for £8m), he doesn't quite fit into their plans so they sell him off after one season for £15m and a healthy profit. It's a crap footballing strategy but quite a good business strategy.Really not sure what they are doing. This hoarding players is just mad, absolute joke of a football club. Wonder how the rest of the clubs view them.
I don't understand why players keep signing for them. Especially young players - you must absolutely know that you've got little to no chance of getting into the first team unless you're a world-class exception. So, OK, you go and get paid very well - but really? That's it? You don't care about your actual career progression, about playing, about getting noticed by your country? Or about having to complete with, say, seven other goalkeepers? What possible motive is there for joining them?
Even better would be if they were liquidised. If Chelsea were liquidated it would be a great day.
They are genuinely the only club in the country that I would celebrate going bust. And I have close family members that support them.
Calling @Dr. No as PSR/FFP was not introduced until 2013.All of this reminded me of when FBS renamed Withdean to Palookaville for a game. OK, it was in the Championship, but were we pushing PSR a little bit back then.
I'd imagine back in the day FBS paid a minimal amount, but still can we do it again for a bit more money?
As per other replies, it's just about money. Don't care if they play.I don't understand why players keep signing for them. Pedro Neto managed on average 15 starts a season at Wolves will suit him down to the ground picking up huge wages whilst on the sick bed for half a season. As per other replies, it's just about money. Don't care if they play.
