He’ll be loving all this outrage. That’s the entire point of his carefully crafted abuse, and the entire point of TalkSport obligingly asking if he wants to apologise. Clicks, dear boy, clicks. Don’t forget to hit subscribe to drive up the followers and the advertising revenue and the commission. How can you not understand this?
Everyone understands this of course, you are not the sole enlightened one here...... but his tedious rants are on a par with Andy Jacobs last year, raving on about us being talked about unnecessarily because his club paid several hundred million for three of our players and half our off field coach and scouting team, even his own presenting partners started telling him to shut it.... hopefully this Jennings dullard will receive some pointed feedback to balance his faux outrage and negative Albion publicity.

If you take his ‘heritage club’ Schtick to it’s ultimate conclusion, then Wanderers, Old Etonians, Royal Engineers, and Blackburn Olympic would still be the Big 4, as they were when English football first became organised.

His Johnny come lately club, Chelsea FC, weren’t founded until 1905, 4 years after‘insignificant’ Brighton and Hove Albion.
Don't forget Accrington Stanley.

Totally agree. We are so irrelevant and don't matter that they are constantly talking about us. They are both muppets and that Rory has successfully wound me up. I wouldn't even talk about Crystal Palace the way he talks about us. Wanker!

The 'ask how many of the fans at The Amex have been to Withdean' was amusing. Most Chelsea fans probably couldn't point out Stamford Bridge in the correct part of London on a f***ing map.

Bang! And the dirt is gone.
If we had irritated them only slightly, they would comment and move on to something/someone else pretty quickly. It is about clicksbait, but I reckon we must have genuinely got under their skin for them to carry it on. But I don't think it is really us that makes them angry, at least not completely. They're frustrated with themselves and direct it at us, because they have to keep giving us money. Deep down, they know they can't buy what it is they want, and it's eating them up. Sad grotty plastic club that buys trophies. All that money can buy success, but it cannot buy a soul.

A reaction is exactly what this attention-seeking fool wants: I really don't know why people bite.

I couldn't care less what a dim witted Chelsea plastic thinks. Ignore his crappy proclamations and he'll have to find another club to make up some fake opinions about.

He's basically come out with a load of shite about us, now he keeps getting pulled up for it so is keeping it going and it keeps getting shown. Made himself look a right tit with it all.

He obviously never goes to football as he was saying he wouldn’t mind if fans could drink in the stands, it would be carnage we have this fella who turns up late for both halves and then goes for a piss every five minutes, everyone else in the row is like ffs annoying as hell.
Imagine that on a larger scale fights would break out.

Well over 20,000 would have been the answer give or take as some have sadly departed. The club once released the unique number of BHA fans who visited.

Others on here will know far better than me but isn’t he wrong about the figures from The Withdean ?

He says it held 8000 but only got 5000 … I live a long way from Brighton but always remember checking the gate figures and I think it was nearly always 6600, I could be mis remembering but I just assumed that was the capacity and wasn’t it the case there was a massive waiting list for season tickets

Just far enough away from LDC

There were over 31k members of the ticket database who bought tickets while we were at withdean

By the time we left the capacity was just shy of 9000

Originally it was 6000 when it was just the north and south stands. They then added the north east (the big wedge thing in the corner) and the tiny South East which took it to roughly 7000 or probably just under. Then finally they added the West stand and the, I guess East stand (the big wedge in between the north east and south east) which took it up to around 9000

Our average attendance was generally around the 6,000 and a bit mark, with the highest being the final season at 7,000ish

It was only under 6,000 twice which was the first season (when capacity was 6,000 but slightly less with segregation) and the 2007/08 season when Withdean fatigue had really set in. Also got to remember that it was hardly an attractive away day for most clubs

I love that we are winding twats like him up. The cherry on the icing on the cake as far as I am concerned.

Big clubs and small clubs really doesn't matter. Point on the board and league tables is what dictates and measures success.

There is too much money in the premier league and big clubs in Europe are struggling to match premier league teams. Chelsea are front and centre in this and are far more part of the problem than us.

Despite this though, Chelsea and the other big spenders consistently underperform in Europe. With the wealth disparity English clubs should be hoovering up European trophies every year.

Perhaps this is why he is whining about little clubs his high spending and underachieving club.

The more he continues to do it the more he embarrass himself and the funnier I find it. 🤣🤣
