They are unbelievable. Greenberg is the classic poacher turned gamekeeper, former sports editor of the Evening Standard who took the Abramovich roubles and now spends all week spinning for Russia.

You might think even he must be embarrassed about defending Mourinho, but I'm not so sure. This is a guy who is a massive Tottenham fan, and on getting the Chelsea job publicly denied that was the case so as not to 'upset' the Chelsea faithful. Like they'd be that bothered if he was good at his job.

Amusingly, his tenure as director of communications has seen Chelsea become the most hated club in the country. A PR disaster.

Man Utd were (are) hated when they were winning everything because they were arrogant about it but Chelsea have taken it to a whole new league. It took Utd years to achieve the hatred that Chelsea have done since Mourihno came in, quite a feat really.

I would agree with that, although in this instance I believe the FA have got it spot on. Of course Mourinho is right to be concerned about his players, but he needs to think before engaging his mouth.

The Michael Brown fiasco is an absolute joke, as are the huge parachute payments that teams receive when relegated from the top flight, yet teams are struggling to stay in business at the other end.
