Trouble is they could buy TOO many players.

They will need time to gel. Some very good players will have their noses put out of joint if they are not selected each week leading to unrest!

They played quite well last season with no purchases. I think they will do well eventually but not necessarily this season.

firstly zola left, freeing up a space in the team, so did De Lucas,as well as Le Saux going in exchange for Bridge

plus, some of their better players that were at the club are at a senior age so to speak and probably will be out injured anyway

Agreed. I reckon Chelski may win it next year. Remember it took Blackburn more than one season to buy it. I would like to see the Geordies lift the trophy this season. They haven't won anything for yonks!

I think Cole is likely to be a better signing for them than Veron. But then again there must be a good player in there somewhere [Veron that is] waiting to come out and show the Premiership what he is really like. But then again probably not.
