The Albion have sold Darren Currie to Ipswich for £250K, which represents a profit of ... £250K in under 6 months. What a great bit of business. This will allow MM to bring in a couple of quality new players (A striker and an attacking midfielder) to help us in our fight against relegation.

What will your opinion be if the 250k falls into the "Black Hole" that is Falmer finances and we do not get anyone in on loan?

I don't really buy that argument. On Tuesday we did not have 250k, there was no statement from the club that we were going bust...in fact the club have gone out of the way to stress that although our finances were not in a healthy state, we have been assured that the club will survive. I also understand that the 2mill we are being asked for is a fighting fund, not a lifeboat!

This money must be ring fenced as there is no way anyone would have seen selling a player who had been released by barnet and Wycombe as a sellable asset. It is an absolute bonus and must be used to strengthen a squad which is now depleted with no creative midfielders in it at all!!!

I will be devastated if this money isn't used for players. I just refuse to contemplate the fact that it won't be.

I'm almost definitely being short sighted and knieve but I have never had a bad word to say about the current board, not once.

I'm just hopeful that they won't let me down now. If they do, I'm really not sure that I'll be able to rationolise (sp) it.

I'm happy to leave it to Dick Knight and the board as to whether or not we can afford to spend this money on players wages or transfer fees (even less likely!).

MM will be brutally honest with them about the teams ability to keep us in this division.

While speculating amd making demands from a distance about how the club should be run is what keeps NSC alive, it seems futile and certainly not worth getting angry about.

and having just read the post above - perhaps it is BLIND FAITH - but I'm happy with that for now.

Of course the irony in all of this is that if the Albion is asked to pay for a lots of specialist work because Pende is viewed as a viable alternative to Falmer thanks to Mr Horton, then of course 250k will be a splash in the ocean as the costs of consultants /lawyers etc etc will certainly eat that. Thanks Andy....ooops sorry, I forgot, you had nothing to do with that did you? silly me.
