Does anyone know of any websites etc where you can check who delivers the best broadband in a particular postcode?

All I can seem to find (uswitch etc) are sites that offer you deals/packages from all possible providers, which doesn't really answer that question.

Best meaning cheapest, fastest or most reliable or some factor of all three ?

Most reliable and quickest, really – the quality of the service in that area; all the sites are just giving me price-based comparisons. Thanks.

Can't speak for everywhere (there are plenty of 'comparison' sites that have links to the packages but we switched from Sky (which was obviously piped through the BT line, Virgin is fibre) to Virgin about a year ago. It's been hugely better. As well as not losing the TV signal every time there's a storm, the broadband has been 100% reliable (Sky wasn't), the TV boxes never need rebooting, the signal around the house is much stronger, the speed has gone from 55-60mb to 900mb and it was less than half the price of the Sky package. Virgin customer service is notoriously shite but apart from one small issue shortly after installation we haven't needed to contact them.................

Would depend on the postcode. There a number of altnet providers might be worth a look (I’m with Lightning Fibre in Eastbourne and they’re very good)

Virgin customer service is indeed awful and one should be careful arranging add ons that can't be cancelled online.

That said, the broadband is fine and I have a deal that gives me that, Sky Sports and TNT sports for £62 a month. Really can't grumble.
