I got a quality picture of the A27 next to the Falmer site in the Argus tonight. I'm on a one man crusade to make the letters page blue and white. Lets see how many I can reel in with this one

Excellent pic and letter Rangdo. I do recognise that view, as along with a few other NSCers I spent the afternoon of St. Valentines Day on the bridge from where your pic was probably taken. The idea, while protesting with our pro-Falmer banners, was to listen to the commentary on Albion's match against Grimsby, but due to the traffic noise this wasn't easy. I certainly didn't get the impression that Falmer was an idyllic, peaceful English village!! Great afternoon though.

The actual village is quite nice (visually) but you won't even see the stadium from the pond that everyone harps on about which is really what pisses me off. I quite often use the bus stop down by the station and you have to shout to talk to the person next to you because of the trafic noise. I think most of the people who moan against the stadium don't even know exactly where it is and when they hear "Falmer" immediately think of the village. If people actually went and saw it they'd soon change their minds.
