After the shit i've received over the past few months with the "Tevez affair", can BHA supporters condone Dean Hammond diving for a penalty to gain an advantage (cheating) on Friday night.

I've been reliably informed that this is a common occurance with this player......informed by several ARDENT BHA season ticket holders at Withdean.

???

it was a superb dive if he did dive!
i thought the player wiping his legs away was the main reason for the penalty!

The difference being that he didnt appeal for a penalty and appearred as suprised as everybody else when it was given. What was he supposed to do go the ref and say you are wrong.

Have you been waiting three months for this?

If you want to pick a diver for Brighton then look at Dean Cox. We've had them before, Leon Knight was the worst one.

Any other problems Jev?

Is it coincidence that both DC and LK are very small so the slightest little nudge is going to send them sprawling, or do I have to accept that they both are 'divers'..

Even if Hammond did dive I don't think it'll get Millwall relegated.

One of the top divers at Brighton right now is El Abd - he goes down like a sack of spuds if anyone breathes on him

I must say that I've never thought of Hammond as a diver and from where I was sat on Friday, it looked like a pen.

You only saw it. Jevs has RELIABLE information that it was a dive.

Blimey jevs, very very poor. You've waited 3 months and that was the best you could come up with? If you want to start drawing comparisons with the Tevez case you're going to have to come up with something along the lines that the ref wasn't independant but was in fact owned by a third party. This third party wants to see Brighton successful as it increases the value of the club to potential investors. In other words corporate culpability not the action of an individual.

To be honest, I thaught it was a dive and it happened right in front of me so i couldnt have had a better view! And even after watching it on TV Im still not convinced!

Ok, he got taken down by the defender, but The ball had gone and it was a bit late for Hammond to go down, and it looked a bit like a dive!

Im sure its going to get evened out over the season though!

He was taken out! Just watch the video - its perfectly clear.

the funny thing is, there was so much going on, and the ball had gone, so it was hard to see at the time, but when it happened I thought two Brighton players had collided and brought each other down.

Watching the replay its clear that the ref was right though.

Must try much harder Jevs.

He was caught - slightly. Don't think he dived for a penalty, but the ref got it wrong IMO. Shouldn't have been one.

Comparing an ALLEGED dive by Hammond to win a pen (when replays showed it was indeed the correct decision), to what West Sham did over the course of last season ?! Thats a good one.

Just remember jevs, every time your lot take the field at a Premiership venue this season, they are doing so because they CHEATED their way to being there.
Every. Single. Game.

I can reliably inform you they are talking bollocks, I don't think I've EVER seen Dean Hammond dive.
