never really been there. i guess spinnaker tower is a must?

The dockyard's got more naval history than you can shake a stick at. Obviously.

Or the D-Day museum at Southsea.

But best of all are a) the adidas factory outlet store in Gunwharf Quays and b) the mighty Gosport Ferry

If you have to, I've heard Leigh Park and Paulsgrove are the up & coming districts, full of hip bars etc

It is a great place for a day out - take a boat around the harbour and have a drink at the Stille and West (sp). You should really go around Victory if you have not been. Take a walk on the old walls at Southsea - there is lots to simply watch going on in the harbour.
