Well what would you rather be doing ?
Its quite obvious to me that if Gus had taken us up last year we would be seriously struggling now in the big League and getting regulary trounced most weeks as he is now with Sunderland and all the money he has spent in January and the team he inherited.
With Oscar he came in late and has had a horrendous injury list but we are still on the tails of 6th place so Im happy to keep on chasing and not worrying about getting tonked every week.
If some of you older ones like me remember back to our promotion into the big time back in the late 70's, the fun was getting there and once we did get there and it was obvious we were struggling etc gates then dropped off and a bit of the fun element was lost and only occasionaly did we upset a few of the big teams.
So Im happy to keep chasing and prepared to wait until we have a team that can get us out of this league and also hold its own in the big time.
So get off Oscars back and give him a chance
