Seriously though, did anyone see the game? I caught the goals on Sky News and he looked out of position for all of them. Do you think Charlton are regretting the loss of Roberts?

Only seen the highlights, but Man City are a very good team. They are "together" and Keegan is a great manager.. Wouldn't suprise me if they where a top 6 team this year. They have a great buy in Anelka and Keegan is the right man to massage his ego!

Good thing it wasn't Peterson - would have been 7 nil.

I saw loads of Charlton fans at Brighton station earlier.Looking depressed.

There's no doubt Roberts is a better keeper than Royce and Charlton did offer Roberts a new contract but he wanted first team football, and fair play to him for taking a pay cut to get that here.

Probably pissing it up in a pub as it's his 18th today - first legal drinking day, bit of an anti-climax if I remember correctly for me.

Ironic really that if Roberts had signed, he probably would have been playing Premiership football now. Royce did a fine job for us when PT was in charge and helped us to our title, so lets not knock the guy, but no doubt about it, Roberts is far better.

Letting Roberts go is very much our gain. Royce is an adequet Division Two keeper at best.

Of all the keepers we've had over the last two seasons while Kuipers was injurred Roberts was by far the best. How Royce is playing in the Premiershite is beyond me.

Royce was actually one of the best players on the pitch. The defence and midfield was awful. He made three or four really good saves.

Konchesky didn't make one pass successfully - no one is going to buy him
