Sorry Al, have you forgotten the cheesecake (a la '70s), purchased by my good self and served with lashings of cream??......

Thanks as always though for your support.

Totally forgotten the cheesecake. I don't even remember it now, so that's a pretty comprehensive attack of amnesia I've suffered there, possibly brought about by the excess of Dark Star Hophead for two quid a pint that night.

Though I do remember Attila doorstepping Dick Knight at the end of the evening, screaming '... don't f***ing die Dick, or it's war...' over the club's apparent (though not carried out) u-turn on real ale at the new stadium.

This would appear to be an event I would simply hate beyond belief - a Groovy Gang convention.

You hate it principally because you would have to pay for it. That, and you're a misanthrope.

You're obsessed with this fictional 'Groovy Gang'. It doesn't exist, it's a figment of your over-excited, underwhelming imagination. It's only you that believes in it. Perhaps if you paid for your train tickets in life, you wouldn't have quite such a gargantuan guilt trip running rampant through what passes for your DNA.

So does everyone need to get a team of 8 together first or can peeps pay £21 and then form a team on the night?

(£21 still seems pretty steep mind you...).

a Groovy Gang convention.

I don't agree with testimonials and consequently will not be attending. Therefore it will not be a full Groovy Gang Convention.
