Being 'honest' doesn't always equate to whether something is morally correct or not. Literally nobody on this thread has ever encouraged any act like this. I don't think i've seen it on any thread on this forum and there's been some cluster****s over the years. It's a truly horrible thing to have to witness, whether it be in person or simply reading about it. Discussing things and having a different viewpoint does not mean that people are apologists or are encouraging things - they aren't mutually exclusive.

Going to great lengths to silence people excuses the horror that we have seen over the last four weeks in France. Going to great lengths to silence people is what people like you do best.

People have been shot down in this thread for not condemning all followers of a particular faith as the same as those committing the acts. It's a binary, black and white thought process that does way more harm than good.

no one is suggesting that all people of a particular faith are murderous lunatics ( because lets face it , to decapitate another human being you have to be a tad unhinged ) , i think what some people might be putting out there is the possibility that the newest influx of migrants of a particular faith may be more disposed to acts of violence in the name of their religion than what was previously expected. Lee Rigby (RIP) , what a disgraceful thing to happen on the streets of his own country where he may have reasonably expected to walk without having his throat cut .....ffs....???

Bullshit this has always been about the Islamic ideology, and I have made it very clear that Muslims are victims too. Go check my posts and pull out anything that says different. Prick

Again, there is no 'silencing'. There's disagreements, there's difference of opinion but no 'silencing', stop being so dramatic. Again, those two things aren't mutually exclusive.

So when I have been removed from threads for expressing a difference of opinion with the usual suspects, that's not silencing? You lot have tried to do it on this thread too and if I was removed earlier you would have been celebrating it. **** off!

I get where you're coming from, but it does seem like a bit of a fine line - isn't it effectively just tarring them with the same brush because of where they have come from?

Go and pull up any posts on here where I have tarred all Muslims with the same brush? Go on find it?

I haven't noticed anyone else do this either. Stop making shit up.

At what point did your name even appear in my post? Go and have a lie down, the internet clearly isn't for you.

You claimed in your post to me and sydney that the people in this thread have been accusing AlLL Muslims of being terrorists and tarring them all with the same brush.

Only you didn't respond to my response to you, to find any posts to back your claim up. Go find them!

Christ you're hard work. My post was asking sydney for clarification on his post and whether I was right in my interpretation of it. I'll await his reply, not yours.

And no, I didn't respond to your post because frankly, there's no ****ing point trying to reason with a wobbling nutjob. There's some people that people can have a discussion with and some that aren't. I'll leave it to you to decide which bracket you fall in. Now go and tell your mum what you want her to make you for lunch.

no mate ....Tunisia ,Syria , Libya , Somalia , Eritrea , Sudanese and to a lesser extent Iraq , Afghanistan and Chechnya .....all have come from countries with a history of violence , usually tribal rather than religious .They are however predisposed to acts of violence , most migrants from the last 3 mentioned are Kurdish and have been chased out by other factions , usually in the name of islam as the Kurds follow a different form of the religion.

it's a cluster **** that has been going on around the world for hundreds of years and now it is happening on the streets of Europe regularly.

i'm not sure it's fixable any more :shrug:

I can respond, i'm choosing not to. I learned to pick my battles and even if my response was verified by the entire planet you'd still find a reason to bitch and moan because that's what you do. You're tiring and boring.

I understand that there has been histories of atrocities across the board when it comes to those countries. My point (and I may not have structured it coherently last time) is - whilst people have come from those areas and may have been exposed to some of those events, whether it directly or indirectly, do they deserve to be tarnished with that reputation the second they set foot into another country, or is it simply making the matter worse by doing so? Should we not try to take each person on their own merits as opposed to just assuming that because they are from that particular country, or follow that particular faith that they are automatically a bad person?

Maybe i'm looking at it too simplistically.

it is usually quite easy to ascertain within 15 -20 minutes of meeting someone if they are unhinged or not , that is part of the screening palaver i would have thought ....you are correct in that there is no way all migrants are dodgy but there have been serious questions from the start of this "refugee" crisis , the initial influx of 20-40 year old males into the greek islands was a big worry for anyone who was paying attention....can't help wondering where a lot of those men are now and what they are up to........i'm not shoving my opinion down anyones throat but it is still my opinion.

You lot had better keep a low profile on here today. Disgusting people the lot of you.

Your response to this heinous act is to come on NSC and insult other posters. You don't live in the real world.

You are choosing not to because you can't.

I'm choosing not to because there's no point. You're clearly a)entrenched and broken and b) incapable of holding a rational, reasonable conversation (hence being kicked off of threads) so whats the point? To give you something to do? Try to somehow replace some sense of joy missing in your life? Not my job sweetcheeks.

It seems you have a problem with people not wanting to engage with you.
