When did Shrewsbury ever win the league three times in a row?? 😂
Hilarious. I feel if I laugh too much my head will fall off

Currently I will admit to being a fan of MoK at the City Ground.

I remember being on the North Stand pre-match sometime in the mid 90s (with @Garry Nelson's Left Foot?) with some random wizened and gnarled veterans of the 60s/70s educating us on the "Knock Kneed Chicken" song, and part of me laments that ditty not enduring through the decades. At the time, our teenage selves thought it sounded f***ing stupid, mind.
Knock knock. Whose there? Iza. Iza who? Iza knock kneed chicken and a bow legged hen, we ain’t lost a fight since we don’t know when......

Those were the days.

Villa and to a lesser extent Deby when they sing

Everywhere we go
Everywhere we go
It's the Villa boys making all the noise
Everywhere we go

Most clubs sing it now but I am told it's Villa who originated it and it's genuinely true as well in their case.

Frankfurt, Bad Sobernheim, Bad Kreuznach areas are where some of my family came from, some of them came to London in around 1850.
I know I have extended family still there, but they lost contact during WW1, when the family here decided to change our surname to Shaw from Schnaubur.
My Great Grandfather and his brother later fought in Burma WW2 because the family moved to India and Burma to work in the Brewing industry and forestry commission respectively.

Got nothing to do with chants, but I had to explain why Frankfurt

As a fellow seaside club I always quite liked the Blackpool song, to the tune (I think) of 'Two lovely black eyes':

"Day trippers go home.
Day trippers go home!
Get back on your bus,
Leave Blackpool to us,
Just f*** off and leave us alone!"

It's quite possible you were amongst the wizened and gnarled veterans instructing us 90s whippersnappers?

Absolutely insane song, we thought at the time. Was it only Albion who sung it, or more widely known?

Saitama Stadium. Saw Japan, China, Hong Kong and South Korea play there in a four way tournament with a double header when I lived in Tokyo. Great stadium (unless it's raining) with fried chicken and cold beer available and delicious.

That’s because they don’t have a proper song 😆

Another version......We hate Andy Pandy and we hate Bill and Ben, we hate Ken Dodd and his Diddymen........

‘Wizened and gnarled veteran’ I’ll take that.
