Poyet saying he wants to change key personnel as not been performing in away games, who would you like to see come in?

In my opinion, forster-caskey deserves another shout. CMS back (harsh though as Vokes got the goal).
Noone? Hasn't really figured since Liverpool.

Change of shape to 4-4-2, Navarro and Barnes should be hearing those words with a chill in their spine.

Personally, I suspect it is Gus being clever. I think that players he considers to be important players this season, won't be important players next season. We'll be doing a lot of business in the summer and our team for next season is going to look very different.

I don't think any of them were really poor today, just a really poor team performance. I'd keep the same starting 11 for the game next week

I thought Navarro had been playing better than Bridcutt recently and we all know what Gus thinks of Ash, so i'd be surprised if he meant those 2.

Personally, I think they're both important players for this team at the moment and both are in the team on merit. But we'll be signing players in their positions in the summer and I think they'll be out of the team for next season. I would consider this a kick up the bum from Gus to players like Navarro and Barnes, to remind them that to stay in this team they're going to need to keep improving at the same rate as the club. I have nothing against any of our players, but I think we'll be seeing some higher quality new players signed in the summer.

As has been said, hard to pick out any individual poor performances, as we were collectively poor.

Dunk did seem a bit shaky to me at times though, and our midfield didn't seem to function at all (giving the ball away constantly, etc). Maybe Razak will start on Saturday in place of Navarro, Lua Lua or Bridcutt (although again, none of them seemed to be particularly bad!). Also wouldn't be surprised if El Abd came back in for Dunk.

In reply to the question, Lua Lua, who apparently was good against Derby at home, contributed little today, and could be replaced by Buckley if fit or Assulin, who looked good against Cardiff I thought.

Also, as mentioned above, Dunk looked shaky, seemed as though he was not confident he belonged in the team, so El Abd should come back in.

We kicked too many long high balls to Vokes today. Admittedly he won a lot of headers but it is not how we play.

Joel Lynch was excellent for them and would fit nicely alongside GG, and he is left-footed!

Get Buckley and CMS fit.

Wouldn't mind seeing JFC or Dicker get a run out, especially with Sparrow out of the picture again.

Dunk looked a bit rusty today but did make some crucial challenges. Would El-Abd have done better?

The main issue for me is that we lack 'weight' in midfield (I don't mean of the Andy Reid lard arse variety) - we seem to get knocked off the ball too easily and maybe this accounts for some of the niggly challenges we are forced into that then attract the Refs attention.

Plus we do seem to get too many duff refereeing decisions against us, but not sure what we can do about that.

It was a desparately poor and negative performance by the team but on the basis that there is a suggestion that many players, including KLL, have been affected by this virus going around then the result was probably the best we could hope for. On the balance of play, we were very lucky to get a point. It's easy to sit at your keyboard and say we must get Buckley and CMS fit but that's not so easy if it is a virus that has laid them low. Furthermore, whilst Buckley would make a difference, I'm not so sure CMS would although I would be glad if he proved me wrong.

I and many around me were disappointed by todays result but it certainly wasn't a 'desperately poor and negative performance by the team'. We weren't the best side on the pitch not helped by some key absentees, but we mostly defended well -and gained a valuable point when it might have been worse. Plus the Ref was very poor and made a significant contribution to the balance of the game. It's easy to be negative but look at the big picture - we are still in the play offs and no major damage was done.

Secondly I am pleased to read that Gus is trying to contain the spread of the virus by making the players travel seperately plus presumably CMS and Buckley were at home so clearly the club is doing what it reasonably can to get them both fit and well. I'd rather know we have taken decisive action to sort that virus out than have the 'epidemic' of hamstring injuries that plagued the Club a couple of months ago and meant that players would be out for several weeks. Also as suggested earlier it gives some of the other squad such as JFC, Dicker & Adgestein a chance to play - if selected. Plus dare I say having Vicente now starting games on a regular basis is like having a new signing, especially if he keeps scoring and creating 'assists'. Talking to a number of other punters on the way home we reflected that it's still glass half full time.

We seem to be two different teams - the one that can win home games with style & then have to play with our backs to the wall away.

There is absolutely NO WAY that Sam Vokes should be replaced. He had a massive game yesterday. For me, CMS should be given Barnes' role. He cannot shoot, but he has a much bigger engine to run around in a supporting role. Barnes was a waste of space yesterday, too late to get involved in breaking up play, and far too slow to get forward in support. I can understand why Gus plays him as a second striker, because he has the knack of getting into good positions. However, for yesterday's role (assuming he was working under instructions as Gus says he always does) CMS looks to be afar better proposition.

That was said about barnes last summer. We'd signed agdestein and bergkamp and hoskins and cms, and barnes would be lucky to get a place on the bench.

This away from home for me. Not sure LuaLua has as much impact away from the Amex but a fantastic option for the last 20 minutes though.
I'm also not a fan of having Navarro AND Bridcutt playing together in away games. Just feels a bit too negative especially as we aren't anywhere near as attacking on the road as we are at home.

Our midfield seems to get overrun in every away game, but I'm not sure the solution is to not play one!

Before yesterday I probably would have suggested a midfield of Sparrow-Bridcutt-Razak. For more mobility and more ability to get forward. Sparrow may have been a bit unlucky with his red yesterday but he gave the ref the opportunity to give it to him. Maybe Caskey should come back in, he didn't do a huge amount wrong, maybe he wasn't ready to be starting every game but he played well overall and brought something good to the team. Dicker I love but I don't see how he's going to be fit enough to be thrown into any of the massive games we have left this season. It'd be a big risk.

For me that is the main problem area away from home, the middle of the field isn't working that makes it very hard for the rest of the team to play well.

Another though specifically about yesterday, why were neither Noone or Assulin on the bench? Gus didn't mention them as virus victims, we needed someone like that to give us more impetus yesterday and maybe push Forest back rather than just having to try and absorb everything they threw at us for half an hour.

Maybe play the same way "away " if in control and winning well ! IMO our midfield cannot cope with a more attack minded home team.

If you go advance you can use the centre alignment, as above.
