Just far enough away from LDC
My money would be on Chopra. He scored 14 last year from half a season (with his personal issues). Since then Ipswich have paid his debts, sent him to a top class rehab clinic etc. It's a bit shit or bust really but I reckon he'll come good.

Not sure how they work these things out but Ashley Barnes 66/1 do some research Sky.

FFS and Sam Vokes 33-1 don't think so, not saying Ashley would be top scorer but come on.

I'd stick a fiver on Ash at 66/1. Extremely generous though! As a penalty taker and our top scorer last season as well as being better than Vokes I would expect those odds to be swapped pretty sharpish.

66-1 for Barnes is very, very good. If he ended up our main striker (quite possible) and keeps taking penalties (probable) then, provided we had a good season, I can see him getting 20 or so.

Definitely gonna put a fiver on Barnes at 66/1, amazing value!

Edit: Just seen he's the same value as Billy Paynter. How on earth did they work that out!?

I think Barnes will be immense for us this season but somehow I suspect he'll not get to play as an out-and-out striker again. For that reason he'll do well to get 15 goals this season including pens.

What this also shows is that there are no outstanding strikers in the championship. Lots of experience but few exciting young strikers coming through. On that list Rhodes is the best prospect.

Fancy Steven Fletcher if he stays, was averaging 1 in 3 in the prem for wolves, should dominate the championship especially if they hold on to jarvis and kightly to put the ball on his head

CMS 22/1
Vicente 40/1
Hoskins 50/1
Barnes 66/1

Wonder what price Mutu will be!?!?!?

How is Hoskins 50/1 when he only scored 1 last season and Barnes is 66/1 :s
