Isn't it the fourth best supported league in Europe? (Behind PL, Bundesliga, La Liga)

Just curious, do you know how they gauged 'size' ? ....crowd attendance ? TV viewing figs ? prize money......keep on hearing stats like this but never heard on what they are based...

The average attendance will get a nice boost with us and saints replacing preston and scunthorpe and wham coming down.

And it's a bloody tough league this year...not too many duds and plenty of teams you feel could go really well. Bring it on.

Very. When you actually sit down and look at the fixtures in full it makes you realise " f*** this season is going to be tough ".

I have never looked at it from that point of view before, but when you put it like that, its very true.
It really is marc, we were fantastic last year, but really need to up our game this season. We a couple of big fixtures on our way to the title, but if you look at it this season, every game is a big one.

Indeed I don't think it's pessimistic to say top 6 is mental. We should be safe I'd hope and think money will be invested to ensure we are, but mid table would be a great achievement until we are established in this league and start attracting players with that little extra something.

I've quoted this stat for years (it certainly was 4th once!) - and that's been mainly when we've been in lg 1 that i've quoted it - The Champs is my fav lg for sure!

That table for The Championship shows our Withdean Capacity! Also noted that with The Amex we will still have one of the smaller grounds in the division!
