How much do we get when he moves?

Should add that twat Potter ruined him with us
Apparently Coventry sold part of their sell on clause in the summer, meaning we got a bit of it then. So may be around 10% sell on they now have meaning we'd get a percentage of what they sold the clause for plus a percentage of that 10% left.

Reassuring to see that Real Madrid are as consistent as ever.

Didn't turn up to the Ballon D'Or.

Didn't turn up tonight.

I didn’t see the Sporting Lisbon game, but at Anfield the ref was so good. CL refs have been fantastic for many years imho. Firm with time wasting, ignored feigning to win free kicks, effortless control with a smile.
I thought the ref was decent at Anfield on Saturday, completely ignoring Veltman's multiple attempts to "win" a free-kick by simply falling to the ground.

The ref in Portugal gave a shocking penalty to Citeh, possibly the softest you'll see this season - fortunately Haaland missed so justice was served. No evidence there that the CL refs are better

No we shouldn't! Looks well twattish - as many have pointed out, some players develop later, nothing to do with being 'ruined'. Obvious that he wasn't, anyway. We have/will have percentages, which is as it should be.

How exactly did Potter ruin him? Gyokeres was sent out on loan for the first two seasons Potter was manager before being sold at the end of that second season.

The only time he played games under Potter was the start of the 20-21 season, he played in all 3 of our League Cup games that season before joining Swansea on loan on transfer deadline day.

He was 23 when we sold him to Coventry and had scored just 3 goals in 30 Championship games (Aaron Connolly had scored 4 in 23 Championship games by the same age).

There was nothing to indicate he was going to go on and suddenly develop like he has. The lad has done brilliantly since he left us but he’s a very late developer in looking like he’s a top level striker.

With hindsight he’s one that got away (although I think he needed a permanent move away to give him fresh impetus to kick start his career and he wouldn’t have had the opportunity to develop in the same way had he stayed here) but when we sold him to Coventry there was hardly anyone questioning that decision, he was another promising youngster who didn’t look up to the level we needed.
