Hope that's a wind up. If nothing else he lost them the game. He didn't stand out at all.

Not a wind up at all Poyet praised the way they played from the back in his post match interview and he was at the heart of it. Obviously did a job on Murray as soon as he came on to wind him up, got Bennett booked for a nothing tackle and defended solidly all game, I didn't even think the barnes challenge was a penalty on first viewing.

Someone has said he was the best player on the pitch on another thread. Am hoping it was a wind up. The twat lost them the game and shouldn't have stayed on the pitch if the ref had a clue what he was doing.

So getting players booked and sent off makes him good?

The reason they played from the back was that they kept hoofing it up the pitch most of the game. They didn't have much creativity at all. Don't like to disagree with Gus but I really didnt see it.

he should have been sent off when he gave the penalty away but the ref bottled it as he pretended to be injuried he was the reason murray got sent off as well most teams seem to try and rile murray up but he reacts to it

He was an absolute disgrace!

I was watching with my young lad & said to him that if he ever behaved that way on a football pitch I'd get him subbed straight away. The bloke had obviously swallowed the "gamesmanship" handbook before the game.

Feigning injury, on the wind up then making a meal of any reaction (not condoning Murray), clattering players and little shoves in the back here & there. Should have gone for the penalty, the tw*t.

Mind you, I was pretty disappointed by quite a few of the carrot crunchers - their 11 & 23 also spring to mind for going through our players, oscar winning injuries to get players booked, kicking the ball away & standing in front of the ball to stop quick free-kicks (unpunished).

I might have been seeing things, but I'm sure that the ref had his back to the Bennett incident which got him booked and only reacted due to the histrionics of the Brizzle cheat.

It was as if Trollope had sat his players down, showed the Barca / Inter game and asked them to mimic the antics of Mourinho's morons!

SO SO glad we claimed the 3 points today.

Billy Big Boots from Wolves - yellow boots sums him up. Bloke was a Prize A Tw*t & deserved to be lamped IMHO.

Mind you, I'm old school and anything other than black boots shrieks of "look at me"!! I remember when non-black boots started to appear on park pitches....it made it easier to decide who to target with a crunching tackle first.
