They regularly used the priests to smuggle equipment and arms, knowing that the Army would not stop them for fear of horrendous PR gaffes. There was more than a couple of occasions when I was over there that clandestine break-ins were made to the home of a priest and materials were removed.

Well obviously I know all about NORAID, but I didn`t know that actual priests were planting bombs. I went to a Catholic schools and apart from the buggery they were smashing chaps.
