wont watch it on principal- i feel pierce should be doing another bond movie, and i dont rate that craig david fella.

and also, as all the books have been done, its time to quit 'refreshing' the franchise, 'prequeling', etc..

Excellant Film 9.7.

Craig really does carry it off. Suggest you get off that high horse 'desperateseagull' and go see it.

I was sceptical of Craig, but on the evidence of this film he blows Brosnan out of water, although to be fair to Pierce he had 2 crap storylines out of his 4.

The fact this is a Fleming novel shows that without anymore Fleming books, it could be difficult to come up with another decent film. Lets hope they do though.

Have to say I can't stand Bond films. Don't know why as I usually like my action flicks and also love espionage style films but just never enjoyed Bond movies
