How much money do we have?

It just seems amazing how far we have come that we are talking about "should we spend 2M on Boyd" when we don’t own a third of our playing staff already.

It’s going to be a very interesting season next year, which ever division we are in. We have so many loanee’s in the team at the moment, we would have to spend a bundle just to have the same team.
i’m also assuming that with the loan players we are not even playing their full wage bill. Add in the possibility of Vicente not being with us.

What happens if we go up? The market value for our loan players will rise just because the other teams know that we would have premiership money and that they could hold out for more. That’s without even improving the playing staff.

If we get promoted, you can rest assured that the first eleven will not be the same as the first eleven that got us promoted. Of course, some players will make the cut, but others will not. TB and Gus will not want us just treading water in the Premiership! Still that's a long way off yet, I still feel that our away form will let us down as it has done for most of this season.

Chances of us reaching the Prem are so slim, I think it's safe to discount it for these purposes.

I suspect season tickets sales will be really strong again and that will encourage Tony to release another few million for Poyet to strengthen. A lot will depend on if we sell anyone, i.e. Noone for circa £1.5m to Cardiff or Dunk moves on, as any money recouped would no doubt be available to respend.

Re. the number of loan players, a lot of that will be down to Poyet taking advantage of our good position and being able to attract some big names down. Can't see we could sign Assulin or Razak but there's no reason we couldn't reloan them again, don't believe they'll be knocking on Man City's first team door just yet. The loans are also used as a try before you buy, so now Poyet has seen how Vokes, Mattock and Reyes would fit in, he can decide if they're worth the cash to keep permanently
