Haven't seen it mentioned on here (apologies if so...)

But did anyone see him bring that ball down in front of the North Stand - just before the half way line ?

( edited because I forgot which stand I sit in )

'Twas in front of the north stand and a warming sight on a bloody freezing cold day.

The 3 under 10's I had with me today all smiled and looked at me. One said - "That's great, never seen anyone do that in a match before ! "

And THAT'S what I call entertainment

Nice to have a player like that again.

You're never quite sure what's going to happen when he gets the ball.

Enjoyed all the little touches and me and brother had a bit of chuckle when he completely bottled a tackle.

Welcome back Seb.

he went past full backs easily at a higher level. cox crosses the ball from deep. Birchall tends to shape his runs towards the centre (going inside) whereas mcleod does not tend to beat the man (with the exception of today) in favour of getting the ball in early. Seb beats the man and gets to the byline. We have four different wide men all with different styles, that has to be good for options against different teams.

skr80 is obviously remembering it differently from me, because Carole was one of our best players in a team that got relegated in quite dismal fashion, rather than an average player in a good team!

In terms of skill and technique he must be among the best players in this league. He has the tendency to beat a man again and again but even so I have no idea how he has dropped to this level, and even lower.

That bring down was magnificent.

Nice bit of skill but there really is no need for showboating unless we're cruising. 1-1 is not the time for it.
