To be honest though, I reckon they should just scrap Countdown now.

I think it's gone on too long now and I reckon they should really have ended it when Richard Whitely died but now Carol's leaving it will just never be the same again.

I wonder who will replace her though? I would love to see Jo Brand do it but i'm guessing they will get a younger more attractive woman doing it (who is good at maths im also assuming)

countdown is an institution many people watch it day in day out religiously (ala my nan!) not sure of the viewing figures they get but id imagine it would take a fair share for the slot its on
