Brighton factually.....
Personal terms agreed with the player. Lille trying to secure a few more quid out of the deal.

Brighton throw in the red herring about another potential target.

All part of the transfer merry go round! Deal will be tied up in the coming days.
or not

There is no way Arsenal would be offering Lokonga on the cheap either. It's late in the window, everyone knows we are in need and that we have money in the bank. It's exactly what Barber is always saying we try to avoid 😂

Funny isn't it. That's exactly the sort of thing he was posting about Caicedo and others, and he got abuse for it. But when it suits us it is helpful 😅
It's not helpful at all. He's had a shocker of a summer. Only a matter of time before the fraud gets found out big time.

Are we really in need though? Dahoud for Mac, and Wee Billy I personally think has more to his game and a way better passing range than Caciedo.

Exactly … why panic ? Let’s just see what transpires and chill the f*** out.

Yes we are. At times both Luton and Wolves streamed through the middle of the pitch. That pushes your defence and GK back. Mac and Moises were excellent at winning the ball relatively high up the pitch and (most importantly) quickly. Moises also has the incredible ability to get back and make recovering tackles.
Let's not get complacent because we've beaten Luton and Wolves. No decent team doesn't have a genuine DM.

Agree, but we also have to get used to the idea that no matter who we sign in midfield, we're going to be overrun on the break at times during probably every game. It's just a natural consequence. We're likely to be on the end of at least one Everton (H) style thumpings. But yes, a specialist defensive midfielder, who can cover ground quickly and get his foot in will help mitigate some of this strategic weakness

the everton game wasn’t just us being hit on the break. it was the fact that they were stronger, and faster to every second ball. lots of that was to do with the squad fatigue, however without moises and mac teams like that outstrip us for steel and strength every time, hence why we need some more powerhouses in midfield, as for all dahoud and gilmour’s skill, they are both a bit lightweight

Confirmation that Baleba’s agent is all for the move and wants it done.

No real news on whether the player still wants to come, if Lille will sell or whether we’ve walked away.
