There have been complications with his medical which makes it unlikely he will sign today, I have been informed he has returned to his Sheffield home, however as a free agent the deal doesn't have to be completed by midnight tonight and Asaba is hopeful the transfer will still go through sometime over the weekend. (Reading between the lines it seems we are offering some sort of pay as you play deal which Asabas agent is currently negotiating with the club about), although he also has other offers on the table from Carlisle, Scunthorpe and Peterborough.

Cheers - that still sounds hopeful. If we make the pay/play deal attractive enough, hopefully we can outdo those others.

From a good source I have heard you are talking absolute shite.

We'll see what develops over the coming days won't we. I think if we manage to sign someone today we won't pursue our interest in Asaba but if all else fails expect him to be an Albion player by next week.
