Looking at it, other than Bothroyd and Burke who were never likely to stay unless Cardiff went up, they've only really released a couple of squad players so far and let their 7 on-loan players go back to their own clubs. Some of the players who were away from the club on loan like Anthony Gerrard are going to be subject of bids and some like Gyepes won't stay if Jones does. Not sure about Jones getting the WHU job but my feeling is that he won't be at Cardiff by the end of June (and quite possibly not by the end of May).
Cardiff have been bordering on bankruptcy for years now, living beyond their means in the expectation that promotion to the premier league was a given. Not sure if the wheels will come off the bus this summer but when they do I think they might well go into freefall.

The way Cardiff throw money about it would not surprise me at all if J. Meades was on a few grand a week telling everyone who will listen about their new grounds amazing architecture...even though it looks like every other new ground at the moment...
